Memorable Monday

“There are your fog people & your sun people, he said. I said I wasn't sure which kind I was. He nodded. Fog'll do that to you, he said.”

What are you watching on TV this week?

Desperately trying to focus on some homework assignments today, but I can't stop thinking about the Half the Sky documentary. Think we've "arrived" with women's rights? Watch this, then tell me what you think...

Off to finish that homework, but I'll be back later with more thoughts on this! :)

Perspective check!

So I'm nearing the end of the semester, and Courtney's been under the weather for a few weeks now. Unfortunately neither of those situations is very conducive to blogging.  :(

HOWEVER...I came across this awesome blog post the other day and just had to share. (Side note: it's worth checking out the entire blog - very cool concept!) Anyways, amidst stress and sickness and lots of emotional ups and downs, this blog post was a very real reminder to me at how amazing and beautiful life is. When you put life into perspective as the blog's author does, it makes obstacles seem a bit more bearable (yes, even my impending exams).

Enjoy!

Memorable Monday

A little humor to accompany the sigh of relief with the end of tax season. Happy Monday everyone!

Did you ever notice that when you put the words "The" and "IRS" together, it spells "THEIRS?"

"Memorable Tuesday" Take 2 ;)

A 'No' uttered from the deepest conviction is better than a 'Yes' merely uttered to please, or worse, to avoid trouble.
